He was booked on a felony charge of strangulation, a misdemeanor charge of assault in the fourth degree and a misdemeanor charge of interfering with making a report. In February 2021, he pleaded guilty to two charges, meaning (constituting domestic violence) and assault in the fourth degree (constituting domestic violence). The other six charges were dismissed.
